		<description>Hello Paul,

What an eloquent and timely piece! I have met all too many of those overwhelming salespeople and that's why I never wanted to get into sales in the first place. But I was lured in by one of those fast talkers!

Today, reading your article made me reflect on the number of successful years I've had in this new career path. As I tasted your words and rolled them around my tongue I recognized myself. This method has worked for me.

Since there is a little bad in the best of us and a little good in the worst of us it seems there are lessons to be taken from each ... and if nothing else, learn who I don't what to be and what I'm not prepared to do.

Giving value is one of the cornerstones of brilliant sales. To the point where turning AWAY business that doesn't fit has brought me MORE business than I ever imagined.

Thank you for what you share.
Always a pleasure to read your blog.

Cheers
