Melinda,

I'm not sure if anyone else is using this approach to incentives other than my clients, but it certainly works. It isn't easy to get going, but once it is set up, it is incredibly effective at generating high quality referrals.

John,

Hopefully you can either talk them out of an incentive or move them to something more effective. Even though a personal incentive program isn't easy to do, it can generate enormous results--something I've seen very few cash programs do. Good luck.

Thanks Paul, I have a client right now who wants to do a cash incentive. I'm pretty sure that I've got them talked out of it, but extra ammo never hurts.

Happy Thanksgiving.
